Did Anybody See this

In his column today Peter King said Charles Casserly showed some tape of JC ignoring Open Receivers downfield to throw checkdowns instead.... in Australia we do not get hardly any of the NFL shows you do and I wonder if anyone else saw this and if this is a big problem

When I listen to the games online on ESPN 980 the commentators often complain about Campbell ignoring Cooley when he is open..... is this an issue???

I saw it...

all through the first half, in particular. He was dumping off all the time when the pass protection was great, especially the first quarter. I’ve lost all hope in Jason. Somehow he has been Patrick Ramsied and is probably ruined forever.

Patrick Ramsied, haha.

Just goes to show that it is pointless to discuss the ‘maturation’ or ‘development’ of a quarterback in the absence of a good O-line. It is impossible.

I also venture to say...

he is one head butt away from Gus Ferrotting himself.

I vote

we take out the QB, WRs, RBs, and replace with Linemen and TEs… and play push the ball up the middle…

you know- turn it into rugby… God knows the QB is one or two seconds away each game from becoming placed on the IR behind this block-easy team.

Might work

because blocking is illegal in rugby, its a ten-meter penalty called ‘obstruction’. If only we could get other teams to play by those rules too….

as an Eagles fan

I’m not sure why everyone keeps talking about Campbell being young and needing to mature. he isnt that young anymore… and quite honestly if he was ever going to mature he’d be showing some sort of signs by now

Its a good thing for us he played poorly. You take away the pick 6 and some of the open guys he missed and that is a totally different game.

yeah...

McNabb missed a few wide-open guys too… Maclin and Jackson a few times… its part of the game.

Tough Position...

being quarterback with an absolutely porous offensive line. Timing is one thing, ability to make a decision is another, executing on sight information (reading)…all things that have to be taken into consideration by the quarterback on each and every passing play. Six sacks is indicative of hesitation and failure to properly process information in the allotted time, 3.8 seconds. Overall, Campbell did a pretty decent job, not great, not good…just decent.
