We're not playing like we should. With all this talent, we haven't even scratched the surface. We're really cutting ourselves short and it's kind of ridiculous. If you see this team come together before it's too late, this team could be special. But if we continue to play like individuals, you'll see this team fall apart and continue to go downhill." - Albert Haynesworth
It's not a good signed when your highest paid free agent is saying this. (although he is only one of the few bright spots on D)

A concern yes..but
The Redskins defense should be learning to play as a team, with a large group of new players involved. It is disconcerting to watch an offense, any offense but an offense led by a rookie QB go 99 yards, to watch 3rd down after 3rd down get made it becomes very frustrating but the defense is not the problem in my opinion.
The defense has 4 sacks, 6 less than the top ranked “sack” teams. It’s been 3 games, and yes a lot of the issue is that 2 of the 3 teams are considered the bottom of the teams in the NFL, but again on any given Sunday…
I politely disagree...to an extent..

By giving up so many 3rd down conversions, they skew the time of possession equation, give the O fewer chances, and take a physical beating which wears them down during the game and over the season.
This is not to say that there are no other problems, we have ranted left and right about the O and management, but unless the D puts more pressure on the QB and operates as a unit, we will have to score TDs almost every time the offense takes the field. Not likely.
Time flies like an arrow. Fruit flies like a banana.
I agree with Haynesworth.
Our team is rich in talent, and players that should compliment each others style. But our team chemistry hasn’t been clicking and the balls haven’t been bouncing our way. If/when things start rolling for us, I agree that we could be special.
Not sure why you said this though. Sounds like he’s trying to motivate everyone.
