It Has To Start With Dan
The fans have every right to boo and be pissed off with the front office for how they run the Washington Redskins. We don't have an NFL worthy front office and that is why we are in the rut that we are in as a team. The way the team is run and how we build the team needs to be changed before we can start to get this thing turned around. That has to start with Dan Snyder. He is not a football guy and he does not really know the game and how to go about building a football team. He does not need to be involved in getting players except to sign checks and that is it! He must get his nose out of it. He needs to hire a proven NFL GM and then step back and let him pick his own coach. Someone needs to show Dan how to play fantasy football. Then he can be the GM guru that he wants to be and Vinny can remain his right hand man. The change has to start with Dan!

Fire the Owner!
AMEN. I have made a number of posts about the idiocy and incompetence of the ‘Skins front office for at least the last five years. Until Snyder relinquishes control of the team and a REAL football front office management is installed, the Redskins are going nowhere. During Snyder’s roughly 10 year tenure as owner he has destroyed one of the most historic and respected franchises in all of sports.
The man would screw up the moving parts of an anvil. The wheels are off, We, the fans, have been used and abused by Snyder. As Dirty Harry once said, “A man has got to know his limitations”. He may be a genius in some areas of business, but Snyder can’t run an NFL franchise.
The Colt’s ownership may be unpopular for some of their business decisions (such as taking them away from Baltimore), but they installed a real football GM in the front office and look where they have been the last decade.
I’m disgusted at what the Burgundy and Gold has turned into.

you're right
but it’s not going to happen. Danny isn’t going to fire himself but may, just maybe, with many of the TV analysts pointing out what a mess he’s made, he might just get a clue and hire a real FO. I think it’s the only hope we have but it might take years for him to overcome his ego.
