Cooley's streak
Hey I'm sort of new here but anyway, I was wondering if anyone noticed the fact that Cooley didn't catch a pass all game. So his 76 game streak of cathing a pass in a game is over. Now we all know that JC loves Cooley so unless they had a fight or something before the game, something is up. My personal opinion is that Cooley ticked off Zorn somehow and so Zorn didn't call any plays directed Cooley's way, cause did you see how many times F. Davis got chances to shine. I'm not sure, but I would like to here other people's opinions on this too

Cooley couldn't catch a pass
because he had to stay back and block for the whole game.

This is typical Zorn...
The best offensive weapons are not used to do what they do best. He probably had Davis in there because there is no film of him doing anything productive. This is called throwing in a new wrinkle – Redskins style.
Time flies like an arrow. Fruit flies like a banana.
It's sickening
This is called throwing in a new wrinkle – Redskins style.
The fact that when shit goes wrong in the NFL, one can call it “Redskins Style” now

WE have not done it to OURselves
OUR spoiled rich kid of an owner has done it to OUR beloved team and WE can’t do anything about it…
I don’t think it has anything to do with Cooley being ticked off at JC or Zorn, or the direct opposite.
I think Zorn saw how incompetent Sellars has become and put Cooley back to block A LOT.
Silly, meaningless streak anyways.
still was something for him to be proud of
anyone remember if eddie williams was terribly inept at run blocking or are we going to end up drafting another FB?

Pass493
If Sellars is not the blocker he once was why have Cooley back blocking and not Yoder back blocking and Cooley going out for pass’s instead of Davis
How would I know the answer to that question?
I don’t know what goes on in Jim Zorn’s head besides carnival music. Was Yoder even active for the game? I think he was but I don’t remember seeing him.
I’m just stating a fact (I have eye balls) and Cooley was back blocking a lot and was lining up at FB a lot also.
That's Zorn for ya!
When starting left tackle Chris Samuels went down with a stinger injury in the first quarter and was replaced by D’Anthony Batiste — who appeared in just the fifth NFL game of his career — Coach Jim Zorn called plays in which Cooley had to stay in and block.
“It changes how we call plays because now Cooley has to stay in and block more often than getting out,” Campbell said. “That’s the reason we couldn’t get him involved in the offense because we had to use him in protection.”

You realize that, and I realize that
But it doesn’t mean a thing if Zorn doesn’t realize it.
