NFC Championship Game-Redskins 3-0
What if.R
It's being talked about everywhere...In Redskin's nation
The Redskins have to make changes, can't get it done in 2009 with only 4 draft picks, they have to make an impact with Free agency. Jason Campbell cannot get it done, Portis is beyond his prime, rookie wide recieving group is a bust...The coach is doing to much, the offense is not inovative...etc.
In one week the Philadelphia Eagles and Arizona Cardinals will play one game to see which team makes it to the Superbowl, Your Washington Redskins completed it's season before the playoffs with a 3-0 record against the Eagles and Cardinals.
Yes, what could have been but is the key to success in the future making less changes than more. Yes, changes will occur, 4-draft picks should be used on the best player available, I believe in that vs drafting for need because the need is not as great as it seems now or ever.
It's about execution, it's about staying healthy and getting "hot" at the right time of the year, the Redskins under first year head coach were not ready as evidence by their late season record, but not because of a lack of players, look at Dallas they implode late each year and go no where, not even to the playoffs but according to the experts they have all the "key" players to go to the Superbowl.
Under the new NFL parity, it's about the execution of plays and the "heart" of the team when it matters. The Redskins can have an exciting off-season but here's to less changes and more success, like 3-0 against the NFC championship teams.
Hail Zorn and the Redskins, to continuity and a succesful 2009.

Makes me ill.
And I’m reminding every Philthy fan I come across between now and then.

You gotta be kidding...
The offense was quite innovative, the defense played well.. tell me this. How innovative is the McNabbi’s and the Cardinal Warners? Nothing. The play hard, they execute, and they make plays. They don’t have the best players, they don’t have elites in every position, but they go out there and play the game, together.
I don’t think we can do that with Campbell. He is even more average than Rypien. But Ryp took charge, lead his team, and lit a fire under people..so did Theisman. If you saw the Cardinal game, a couple of times receivers ran the wrong route or made the wrong break, he was on them. Campbell just goes for the next play. Not much there. We need some people to step up and make it happen, not wait for it to develop.

I keep forgetting
that the Redskins swept the Iggles this season.
Ah, there it is. What a nice, pleasant memory.
