One Game and Owner bashing

Tired of hearing it all...

Star-divide

Yes, I watched the game;  It was disappointing to watch the lackluster performance of the offense the uninspired play of the defense and the bland play calling.  All of which should have been fixed during the 5 preseason games but was not... Concerns about Jason Campbell being the QB today or the future.

Concerns if Jason Taylor will be the added defensive lineman to help with the rush.

Concerns how one CB, Springs, not playing can cause the entire secondary to become soft.

Concern that play calling is bland and too often predictable based on the number of runs stopped behind the line of scrimmage or 3rd down plays which fall 1 to 1/2 yard short to a first down.

Special teams, kick-off and punt were ready.

Bashing the owner or the team overall is getting old, and it's coming from too many sources outside the organization, GIVE IT A REST, most Redskin fans are level headed about it being one game, concerned by not Doom-and-Gloom.

And the team understands it's failingsRedskins' Zorn, Campbell off to shaky start

But Long time Bills fans don't need to add 2-cents, wasn't Gregg Williams your coach? When was the last time you made it to the superbow, and when do you win it.   Save it for your own team: Dear Washington Redskins Fans...

And Dallas fans need to sit back and watch your team to see if they have figured out how to win in the post season. http://thelandryhat.com/2008/09/05/washington-redskins-looked-awful/

And the countless local media groups blaming it on the owner and his VP of operations, Trying to buy a champion was wrong, trying to build through the draft is wrong, everything is wrong it's the guy who sits in the stands which is the problem since the team is now winning.   So the owners of Miami, Arizona, San Fran, Detriot, Buffalo, New York Jets and Philadelphia should all sell the teams with Dan Snyder because if in 10 years you haven't won a superbowl then obviously it's the owners fault....Which would now include teams like MN and all the owners over the years plus countless other teams who have not won it all...Give it a break, in was one poorly played game for a team which everyone feels will be lucky to achieve 9-7, should go 8-8 but could be worse than 7-9 asked the betters.

Lots here I agree with.

I hope there’s some robust discussion following. I HATE losing to the Giants, but the silver lining for me is that a big loss on national television apparently gets you guys talking more than anything I’ve ever written.

Go register. Or else.

glad you

got that off your chest. I agree we need to remain calm. the offense is gonna take time and so will zorn. I just ignore all the foolish people in the media and on the internet. There’s a few trusted sources that i go to for news, analysis, etc. Most people are just trying to get attention or they flat out don’t know what they’re talkin bout. I say F ’em.

There’s really no point in talking about snyder and cerrato now. That’s for the offseason. It’s all about zorn and the players from here on out.

You pretty much summed it up

The first game of Zorny’s coaching career and it showed. It was lackluster for sure, but in my opinion there were lots of silver linings. Like three field goals despite an absolutely lopsided TOP. Like Clinton playing with some real fire before the 4th game of the season. Like Taylor ripping off his brace in the pregame and then playing the entire thing.

To me, it looked as if the D was knocking off rust throughout the first quarter. Its obvious that Rocky and Carlos are getting back up to speed. So was Taylor. I noticed very distinctly that Taylor looked like crap in the first quarter, then stiffened up considerably after that.

I’d lament our offense’s lack of production. However, it was so bad that it only leaves room for improvement. We’ve seen Zorny’s O click twice in preseason with pretty good results. While our O was downright bad this game, it shouldn’t be an indicator of what the offense will look like when if it finds some rhythm.

I’m 100% behind your statement that the FO bashing is out of hand. I don’t think the media frenzy would be any different had we drafted three second round linemen/linebackers etc… In fact, despite our rookies’ laziness, they have still produced more this season than a lineman taken in the second would have. Even the one catch by Thomas is more help than a backup rookie guard, tackle or end would have provided at this stage of things.

TTB!

i agree

im tired of the bashing even though sometimes its worth it.but i think alot fo pressure on JC even though there shoudnt be im Redskin’s Fan and Bills Fan and yeah he was our coach and as a coach greg williams good his first year, but it got worst every year after becuase his schemes work at first but after a season or 2 he just falls apart. and i love the fact that these two teams seem to swoop players alot so i can always see my favorite players in a uniform i can approve of. well as a skins fan lets not let 1 game define a season.
