Jaguars at Fed Ex Field 7PM Eastern Open Thread
Jacksonville Jaguars at Washington Redskins, Aug 28, 2008 7:00 PM EDT
Bla bla bla this is Your Washington Redskins Open Thread for the Jaguars @ Redskins game later on today. As it is broadcast nationally, I should be around to post here. Locations include:
TORB (The Destroyer!) Gameday thread.
I think Hog Heaven will probably have one up later too.
Tandler will be liveblogging it, per usual.
I don't anticipate seeing the starters all that much though, because of the last game, I think I'd like to see them just an itty bit just to know they haven't completely forgotten how to play. Especially that offensive line...
Pray for no injuries and thank ye football gods that the real deal is so very close. Hail.

While this is fun and all that....
Seven days from now, IT matters!
16 games, where each one is important, with a little more emphasis on the division games where anything less that a split will spell doom. Over at RealGM Football after positives abound the final tally is a 4-12 2008 season, while I think it’s overly pessimistic the game one performance will tell a lot of how the seasons going to go.

I don't know about this challenge...
irrefutably a catch? I doubt it.
I think the irrefutable standard is stupid, but whatev.

I missed the starters.
Tell me how bad it was.
Colt continues to spark. Suish coulda hit that from 50! 14-3 the enemy.

Bla.
Totally pedestrian first half. Team doesn’t look substantially better than it was against Carolina. I just hope this doesn’t carry into the real season.
Colt is putting up some great first half numbers but I think they will be infalted by a prevent defense the Jags were running at the end of the 2nd quarter. He made some completions that didn’t do much to help the team. Last play of the quarter was the running back (I didn’t catch who) blowing right by a blitzer, he should’ve picked him up. On the previous play Devin Thomas showed his age with a false start.
It ain’t real, so I ain’t real worried.

That's all she wrote.
Nehemiah Broughton and the offensive line can’t get one yard on 4th and 1. Cya.

Who is #20
and why wasn’t he the first player cut?
He’s like the new Carlos Rogers. Everytime there is a big play on a drive, there he is, right in camera shot not making a play.
Ok, I see it is Justin Tryon. I’m sure he’s ‘Tryon’ to be a competent defensive back but he does not appear to be one.
Maybe I am missing something.
