Bill Cowher

On Tuesday, July, 22, 2008 I saw Bill Cowher sitting at Wow Cafe and Wingery around 9:15pm, with some other people. This is very interesting seeing him there and Redskins stadium is down the street.

I wonder what this means. We will see in the future. Could it be James (Jim) Arthur Zorn may be one and done? You know Dan is stuck on big name everything, so this could be a long season. Hopefully it's a better season than last year.

Redskins are definitely

the team most associated with Cowher’s inevitable future return to the sport. I’d prefer it never happens, though, because if Jim Zorn goes undefeated and wins a Super Bowl (for example) there’s no way we make that change.

No doubt though that Bill Cowher is a solid coach.

Go register. Or else.

Hope is eternal

I didn’t want to say it, but lets face it…in the end it is what happened.
After interviewing all the other potential head coaches not named Cowher, Redskins owner realized the person with the most potential was his newly hired offensive coordinator. If it works, Daniel Snyder will be a genius, mostly in his own mind and changes will not occur. If it does not work, then it was just a stop-gap until he could hire a bigger name. Hoping and expecting Zorn to be “the one”

So Zorny...

I like jimmy, and I hope he succeeds. The Chin being rather close to Skinsville is coincidental. However, I would lose NO sleep if Billy-C was the head coach after only one year of Zorn…though I honestly believe we will NOT have a losing season. The contract for a wide-eyed rookie HC cant be too expensive to buy out. I just hope Zorn would soon find another HC gig…or a OC job under a great coach who will prepare Zorn for future success. Though if Zorn went 9-7 then was fired, Jimmy-Z should land a HC job…

cowher..........

I dont think Cowher is that great. He’s only won one super bowl and it took him forever to get there. I don’t know if Zorn dog can get the job done but I really don’t want Cowher wih the skins.

cowher

Getting rid of jim zorn after one year would be disasterous for jason campbell. If zorn is fired that would be campbells fourth offensive coordinator in five years. Plus campbell has had success in the preseason under jim zorn. I feel that zorn is a players coach. WIth the west coast offense portis and betts will have success catching the ball out of the back field and running up the middle with gibbs running game still in tact. Plus cowher is not an offensive coach.
