Time To Focus

[Note by Ben 7/21/08 11:30 AM EDT] Promoted from fanposts because I believe one way to prepare for the future is to look to the past.  There is rich tradition in the NFL of the Redskins winning the Super Bowl after the Giants :)

Day one of Training Camp, Focus on the season by learning from the past.

With all the excitment of Training Camp opening, then the injuries to Washington Redskin players on Defense.  The quick answer with the trade for Jason Taylor.

To a new coach, an unproven quarterback, a new offensive system and is talked about by most to finish 4th in the NFC East.  A team who kept it's veterans who made the playoffs last year but under unique situation was it a super push?  A lot of things are swirling and with 5 preseason games the preseason for Washington Redskin fans will last for ever.

We need to focus, by looking to the past.

January 26 1992

January 31 1988

The dates represent the last two Superbowls won by the Washington Redskins, how can these dates help?  In 1991 the New York Giants Won the Superbowl, In 1987 the New York Giants won the Superbowl.  Focus, this is Washingtons year to suprise as we root for the New England Patriots to return to the superbowl, again focus on history.  Enjoy what could be a year to Remember.
