ART MONK AND DARRELL GREEN ARE COMING TO WINCHESTER, VA
[Note by Ben 7/18/08 5:12 PM EDT] Promoted, this is an opportunity to see our boys before they are enshrined.
As you know Art Monk and Darrell Green are being inducted to the NFL Pro Football Hall of Fame, but what you might not of known is that they are making a visit to Winchester, VA for what should be a very fun and exciting charity event.
On their way to Canton, OH they are stoping at a select few locations to promote their induction and raise money for the Hilaron Foundation. One of the stops is at the George Washington Hotel in Winchester on July 26th. Their will be a great dinner provided, interviews, auction items, live entertainment, and autograph and photograph opportunities. Other former Redskins and Hall of Famers Charley Taylor and Bobby Mitchell will also be their!!
Ill definitly be in attendance as their is a lot of hype here locally! There is more info at www.route281.com, I called 540-722-8700 to order my tickets as they are much cheaper to order over the phone.
HAIL TO THE REDSKINS!

ALL YOUR BASE ARE BELONG TO US
if charity and Darrell Green weren’t involved, I might take action.
I am of the opinion that Charley Taylor is the most underrated Redskin in history, thoughts?

not in the hall of fame is an absolute joke. That’s why i hate the hall of fame in every sport, especially baseball. But you have these old crotchety sports writers who have massive personal biases and they screw guys over cause of it. Think jim rice for baseball or art monk. You think peter king’s assanine anti-art monk campaigning every year didn’t affect anybody else?
This thing does look cool but Winchester is too far from me.
