Favre Retires

I think he was making a point.  He said pretty please tow seasons in a row...they have the cap space.  I know there is more than what your QB asks...but when that QB IS YOUR FRANCHISE, concessions should be made (within reason).  But they were close...real close.  And chances are, they would've been better.  And with Moss, they would have been scary.  Maybe they almost wanted Brett to step down.  That's a young team, and they are looking to the future.
