A first thought it had nothing to do with the Redskins but...
As called by some " black Monday" has seen the release of head coaches.
Jets fire Mangini
Crennel fired;Cowher says no
Marinelli gone; Mayhew to GM
With more to happen I'm sure, thinking all is quiet on the Redskin's Front until I came across Adam Schefter blog on NFL.com
One of the first teams to turn in a request was the Detroit Lions, who requested an interview with Washington Redskins secondary-cornerbacks coach Jerry Gray.
Gray was the defensive coordinator in Buffalo, and has a good reputation around the league. He is one of the first candidates the Lions requested to interview, but not the last.
I'm glad someone thought of interviewing a Redskins coach, I'm a little surprised it was Jerry Gray, but then I'd forgotten about his defensive coordinator performance and just pieced together Gray and Mayhew were team members in 1993 at TB.
Interesting? It could be big changes if Washington Coaches to Detriot occurs, not only the coaching changes but players too? All speculation but the intrigue...for a fan of a team who is out of the playoffs....
