How about Hasselbeck?
I know he had injuries this season but look at what he did with Zorn when they where together at Seattle. They killed us twice in playoffs ending our hopes and i believe they went to the SB. But look at the Seahawks this year nothing and like i said i know about his injuries but he played us and still looked decent if not for his last minute int! What do you all think?

Why, why would Campbell be able to do that...
Someone please give me one example, preferably two, of a time when we were facing a great team and he was able to overcome. Not the running game, not the defense, but he took his game to the next level and proved that he can win a Super Bowl. How could he ever be able to beat the Giants, at home, on the road, in the playoffs… This is absurd, you put new guy after new guy in and eventually you find a Matt Cassel, Thigpen, Romo. Brady was an afterthought and stepped right in and showed the world that he is that guy, as did Romo, Cutler, Brees was a second rounder. Some people simply posses the physical tools as well as the intangibles and instincts. Jason Campbell does not, he lived off the running game at Auburn and has so far here. When will enough be enough, I want to be able to score touchdown, not one a game, but a lot of them, like the Saints.
Taken the wrong way
when i made the poll i was asking which QB would or could help lead us to another SB not suggesting that Campbell is that guy I think that Campbell has had enough of a chance he has been with us for 4 years and yes i know that he has had to change offenses but thats the name of the game if he is any bit of the “professional” QB everyone says he is why hasent he even shown us a glimmer of understanding the new offense!?!
OMG CAMPBELL IS TEH SUCK WE TOTALY NEED COLT BRENAN LOLZ!!!!!!!!!
In all seriousness, it would help if Soupy had more than about 2 seconds before the pass rush gets to him. He understands the offense just fine — that’s not the issue. He’s only got 2 receivers who can make plays, (Moss and Cooley; well, 2.5 if you want to count Randle El sometimes) he’s got a predictable power running game powered by an undersized runningback who’s constantly injured, and he has an offensive line whose age averages about 90 years old. Somehow, I think you could put a cloned Joe Montana back there, and he wouldn’t be much better.

c'mon not a fair chance
first off campbell has the arm to lead us anywhere. many of his throws are right on. and ive seen moss drop too many easy passes to think that jason could have 100% trust in him. i think once devin or malcolm develop he’ll be able to know that he has a receiver that can go up high a sang that ball away from shorter corners. and i dont really like this offense for the redskins. the west coast is a pass first offense but we are a running team. we like to run the ball and thats what were good at, but we could be good at passing. i think if we began to pass downfield more and not do quick right away passes that are caught on the line of scrimmage campbell would shine. i ALMOST always want to run on first down, ALMOST, there is sometimes when you know you should pass on first down but if you can 4-5 yards running you can do anything almost. i want the rookie WRs and the O-line to do good and jason could be one of the best QBs in the NFL, especially with Zorn. dont forget he went many games w/o a pick and set an NFL record so soon enough Zorn will turn campbell into a great QB.
Fair Chance Nothing...
Just a question, Did Todd Collins get a fair chance? The stepped in and took the team to the playoffs. Campbell and Co. was abysmal. They were not on the way to win the rest of the games. Shouts for Gibbs job started to emerge, and with a swift stroke of an injury all of a sudden, the line could hold a block, receivers were WIDE the FRICK open, and the skins played with enthusiasm!
So don’t tell me about who gets a chance. If anyone should it should have been Collins
People who advocate this position....
….conveniently forget the fact that Jason Campbell was learning his 15th new offense in 16 years, or something like that, and Todd Collins had been studying Weird Al’s 2000-page offense for nearly his entire professional career. Not to mention that nobody had any game film of Collins playing.
How’d that go against the Seahawks? I forget.
