In the post game interviews...
I can honestly say I feel bad for the kid.
But only until next year starts.
Hahaha
It's Parcells' fault.
But how many times have you heard broadcasters say, "they should go for the field goal on third down to win the game; that way, if there's a botched snap, there's another chance to kick it.
FACT: If the overrated Tuna had gone for the FG on third down, (3rd and 7 on the 8 yd line), the Cowboys would likely have advanced. Surely, with two chances, they would have gotten a good snap. Green Bay would have gotten the ball back with less than two minutes remaining.
Yes, they might have driven the field, but I personally think it's a no-brianer that you take the lead first and then worry about stopping the other team rather than playing to run out the clock while you're behind and hinging everything on one play.
In a rainy and windy Philly..
In Week 16, Cincy's punter missed the snap that practically cost the Bengals a playoff spot.
It's not so much as anyone's fault as it is a freak accident.
And it couldn't have happened at a worse time.
i thought reid was wrong.
the fact is, to consider any field goal "automatic" is to ask to get bitten in the face. which is exactly what happened in dallas.
i was shocked reid went for it on 4th instead of third. and the snap detmer got was high, too--he just handled it very well.
