In the post game interviews...
he looked like he was about to cry...

I can honestly say I feel bad for the kid.

But only until next year starts.

Hahaha
Simply unbelievable. Mike Holmgren:
"You coach long enough, you end up seeing just about everything," Seattle's Mike Holmgren said. "One more thing for the journal."

It's Parcells' fault.
Yeah, Romo dropped the ball. It happens.

But how many times have you heard broadcasters say, "they should go for the field goal on third down to win the game; that way, if there's a botched snap, there's another chance to kick it.

FACT: If the overrated Tuna had gone for the FG on third down, (3rd and 7 on the 8 yd line), the Cowboys would likely have advanced. Surely, with two chances, they would have gotten a good snap. Green Bay would have gotten the ball back with less than two minutes remaining.

Yes, they might have driven the field, but I personally think it's a no-brianer that you take the lead first and then worry about stopping the other team rather than playing to run out the clock while you're behind and hinging everything on one play.

In a rainy and windy Philly..
coach Andy Reid ran the ball on 3rd down and kicked on 4th to win the game.

In Week 16, Cincy's punter missed the snap that practically cost the Bengals a playoff spot.

It's not so much as anyone's fault as it is a freak accident.

And it couldn't have happened at a worse time.

i thought reid was wrong.
they're not freak accidents. bad snaps and bobbles happen several times in a season, and are certainlhy more likely to occur under high-pressure conditions.

the fact is, to consider any field goal "automatic" is to ask to get bitten in the face. which is exactly what happened in dallas.

i was shocked reid went for it on 4th instead of third. and the snap detmer got was high, too--he just handled it very well.

That's why Andy signed Detmer last week
because the guy just has knack for putting down a great hold no matter where the snap is.
